Divya Sebastian

I am a PhD candidate in Strategy at Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. My research interests are corporate strategy and innovation. I am keenly interested in how firms create and extract value from their inventions. In my job market paper, I document the value of inventions firms conduct overseas.

Before joining the PhD program, I worked in a research think tank in India. My work there focused on innovation policy in India and involved interviewing policymakers and business managers for several projects that inspired my research interests.

I will be on the job market in 2024-2025.
